Dunboyne Bus service update
“Dunboyne Bus Passengers can expect to see significant improvements in the bus service in the not to distant future” states Meath East TD Mary Wallace
This follows the recent discussions Minister Wallace has had with Dublin Bus regarding improvements to the overall bus service in Dunboyne.
Passengers can look forward to
* An improvement to the morning and evening peak departures providing an approximately 15 minute service during these periods.
* An all day improvement to the frequency operating to and from Dunboyne.
* With an enhanced service on the 270 there will be no requirement for the route 70 to operate via Blanchardstown Village or Shopping Centre
* The new 270 service to start earlier and finish later than at present on the Monday to Friday and Sunday timetables
Dublin Bus had hoped to have these improvements in operation this Spring. Due to the size and nature of the changes in the whole of the D15 area/bus network a more realistic timeframe is Summer 2008. Dublin Bus has apologised for the delay in these long-awaited improvements but they have assured passengers that they are committed to their introduction.
“Passengers can look forward to an all day improvement to the frequency operating to and from Dunboyne” she concluded.
