Wallace welcomes progress for Lismullin School

Meath East TD Mary Wallace has welcomed the progress announced by Minister Batt O’Keeffe in relation to Lismullin National School.

Deputy Wallace has been informed that the Lismullin National school extension/refurbishment project has been approved to appoint a design team later this year.

The Department of Education have further advised Deputy Wallace that Lismullin is to get a new 16 classroom school.

Deputy Wallace said “I am delighted with this news that will add significantly to the already huge investment in education in County Meath over the past few years. It is particularly welcome in the Lismullin area and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the School Principal, Chairperson and members of the schools board of Management and to all the parents who worked to support the delivery of this most important school project for Lismullin.”
