After thirty years in public office as a councillor, a senator, a minister of state for three portfolios and TD for Meath East, Mary Wallace decided not to contest the 2011 general election. Mary Wallace was Minister of State in Justice from 1997 to 2002, Agriculture from 2006 to 2008 and Health from 2008 to 2009 and a member of the Irish Parliament from 1989 to 2011.
At work in the Community for the schools, roads and trains that became the success story of Mary’s final term in office.

Swine Flu vacination available through HSE clinics until end of March - Wallace
People are reminded that the Swine Flu Vaccination programme is now in its final phase, where Swine Flu vaccine is being made available to everyone through Health Service Executive (HSE) Clinics nationwide says Mary Wallace TD. Deputy Wallace continues “Anyone in the target risk groups who has not yet been vaccinated is advised to come to a HSE clinic for their vaccine before Wednesday, 31 March 2010.” “In addition, anyone (whether in a risk group or not) who has not yet been offered vaccine may now come to a HSE clinic for swine flu vaccine.
