After thirty years in public office as a councillor, a senator, a minister of state for three portfolios and TD for Meath East, Mary Wallace decided not to contest the 2011 general election. Mary Wallace was Minister of State in Justice from 1997 to 2002, Agriculture from 2006 to 2008 and Health from 2008 to 2009 and a member of the Irish Parliament from 1989 to 2011.
At work in the Community for the schools, roads and trains that became the success story of Mary’s final term in office.

Mary Wallace TD has been advised by Minister Batt O'Keefe that funding has been approved to Mulhussey National School Kilcock for a disabled Toilet.
"The Building unit of the Department of Education will be in contact with the school authorities shortly in relation to the amount of funding approved".
