Wallace welcomes National Ideas Campaign

9th March 2009

Meath East TD Mary Wallace welcomes the independent national Ideas Campaign launched last week.

The “Ideas Campaign” website provides Irish Citizens with an opportunity to submit any practical ideas they may have to help stimulate economic recovery and focuses on solutions to Irelands current economic challenges. It also provides Citizens with easy-to-understand information about the Irish economy and an opportunity to provide messages of support.

Minister Wallace stated “This is a fantastic campaign and provides Irish Citizens with an opportunity to propose innovative ideas and suggestions to encourage a boost in economic activity across the Country. There are many people in Meath with innovative ideas and I would encourage people to participate in this very refreshing positive campaign”

The campaign will run until 31 March and centres on a website – www.IdeasCampaign.ie. The Ideas Campaign plans to use the ideas received to deliver an action plan for Government in April.
