New Bus Services via Ashbourne (Including Airport Bus)

Meath East TD and Minister of State Mary Wallace has had ongoing meetings with Bus Eireann to improve the bus service for Ashbourne. Bus Eireann has informed Minister Wallace of plans to introduce further new services during the second half of 2008.

Duleek/Kilmoon/Ashbourne 106X

The first new route 106X will run from Duleek to Kilmoon through Ashbourne (via Nine Mile Stone) and then via the motorway to Dublin.

Navan/Kentstown/Ashbourne 107X

The next, route 107X, will go from Navan through Kentstown to Ashbourne and then on to Dublin via Dublin Airport and Port Tunnel.

“I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to Bus Eireann for their very positive response to our requests for improvements to the Ashbourne Bus Service and in particular for the much needed Airport Bus. I would like also to thank passengers for bringing forward these suggestions to me and I would encourage passengers to keep sending on your ideas and comments on our improved bus service" said Mary Wallace TD.
