Wallace meets Minister to move St Paul’s School Building Project forward

18th December 2009

Ratoath TD Mary Wallace has had a further meeting this week with Minister for Education Batt O’Keeffe in relation to the St Pauls National school building project. At this meeting Deputy Wallace stressed the importance of moving the project to the next stage, the design stage.

The Department of Education approved the provision of a new 24-classroom school and a special needs unit for St Paul’s Ratoath and the project moved to architectural planning stage in February 2009.

Mary Wallace stated “Having met with Minister O’Keefe I am hopeful of a positive outcome and hope to have good news for the staff, parents and students of St Paul's National School within a month when it is hoped the Department of Education will move the project to the design stage”.
