Work begins on new extensions to Ratoath National Schools - Wallace

The Ratoath National Schools are to get a 14 classroom extension, 7 special education tuition rooms and redevelopment of the existing Car Park.
The current 12-classroom Junior National School will get an extension of 10 classrooms and 3 special education tuition rooms along with an extension of the present GP room. In addition there will be an upgrading of some of the existing classrooms.
The current 16-classroom Senior National School will benefit from a 4-classroom extension and 4 special education tuition rooms. This extension will further enhance the facilities in the senior school that include 2 resource rooms, a computer room, a general purpose room and storage.
Deputy Wallace and Cllr Nick Killian wish to acknowledge the huge support and assistance from Parish Priest Fr Gerry Stuart, the chairpersons and members of the Boards of Management, Ratoath National School Parents Association, Junior National School Principal Pat Foley, Senior National School Principal Maurice Kearney all of whom have played their part in assisting us to getting to the stage of construction.
