Deputy Wallace stated “The scheme is open from 1st June to 30th September. To apply you will need to fill out a Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance form available from www.marywallace.ie or it can be downloaded from the Department of Social and Family Affairs website. Forms are also available from your local community Welfare Officer.”
“It may take a number of weeks to process an application so I would urge parents who qualify to apply for this allowance sooner rather than later.” Deputy Wallace concluded
