Details of the Summer Works Scheme for 2011 have been announced and applications have been invited under the Scheme says Mary Wallace TD.
Deputy Wallace stated “A number of primary and post primary schools across Meath benefited from this scheme in 2010.”
Deputy Wallace continued “The Summer Works Scheme covers projects in school buildings such as gas, electrical and mechanical works, roof replacements and repairs, window replacement, toilet upgrades, structural improvements and access works which can ideally be carried out during the summer months or at other times that avoid disrupting the operation of the school.”
“Under the 2011 Scheme, schools may apply for one small scale project only.“
“The closing date for receipt of all applications under this Scheme is 21st January 2011.“ Deputy Wallace concluded
