Wallace welcomes new rooms for
Mulhussey National School

Meath East TD Mary Wallace has welcomed the funding for the provision of two special education teacher rooms for Mulhussey National School, Kilcock.

Deputy Wallace says this is part of the government ongoing policy to upgrade schools and she is delighted with this announcement which is in addition to the announcement in 2010 for funding for a disabled toilet also at this school.

Deputy Wallace and Cllr Leonard visited the school in 2010 and met with the school authorities to discuss the needs of the school, they were very impressed with the fabulous education being provided in this traditional rural environment and pledged their support to do all they could to support the wonderful education taking place at the school.

In welcoming this decision, Cllr. Nick Killian says that it is great to see this support coming through for this rural school as it has regularly been discussed at our meetings as a school that deserves our support.
