Wallace welcomes Roadwork funding for Curragha and Ratoath
Meath East TD Mary Wallace warmly welcomes funding of €155K allocated to the Kilbrew Road in Curragha (Largo Foods) under the 2008 Roadworks Programme.
Works will involve resurfacing of the road and general improvements. Meath County Council will continue to carry out road maintenance and drainage works as required.
Meath County Council has invested significant funds in Curragha Village in the past two years. Completed works include foodpath upgrade work, installation of public lighting and road re-surfacing.
Minister Wallace and Cllr Nick Killian have also welcomed funding for Ratoath Roads including € 340,000 euro for the Fairyhouse Road, €120,000 for Ratoath inner relief Road , €300,000 for Jamestown Road Junction, €55,852 for Sutherland and €41,889 for Porterstown. In addition, ordinary roads maintenance of €88,000 and pothole repairs of €35,535 were also welcomed.
